Bruce Springsteen - Milano Nights 1985

Image

To 7 and the average one of the evening, Bruce knows them on the theater box of S. Siro, urla to the microphone "one, two..." and it is felt to answer "one, two, three, four" from 73mila fan Italian, for many of which the the 21 date of june will become more important of the birthday. It is before the time of Springsteen in Italy, for many the wait lasted from years, too much strongly it is the emotion to find itself finally of forehead to the Boss with and the Street Band: on the ritornello of "Born In The U.S.A." 200mila the watt of the amplification cannot null in front of the roar of the crowd that grida like sol a man. And it is only the beginning of what to said of the same Bruce it will turn out to be one of its 10 better concerts than always: four hours (included a intervello of thirty minuteren) in which the interaction between musicians and public it catches up the perfection; the barriers between the theater box collapse all and the platea, the intensity is to the apex and the brani ones more even disengage turn out to you moving: in Glory Days, as an example, Bruce experiments most incredible call-and-response of the career, "playing" 70mila ugole like an orchestra director. The bis, then, they are a triumph. Concluded Can' t Help Falling In Love, the lights of all the stage are ignited for Born To Run and they will not extinguish more. The 18 minuteren of Twist And Shout are one festivity: not there is a person in all S. Siro that not songs and dances, and Bruce so is impressed some that it decides to go back on the theater box in order to play Rockin' All Over The World. "I will still return", says before going itself some. It will make in 2003 and remembering the magical evening of 18 years before it will say "is beautiful to be of new to house". The impact of the from Milan concert of the 85 on the fan Italian is enormous: pack-saddles to think that the bootleg of the concert, Fantastic Bruce!, it sells 25mila copies in the successes to you three months. – babelfish translation -

Bruce Springsteen - back on the road again

Brucesp005As Bruce explored other musical routes throughout the 1990's, fans often dreamed of Springsteen rejoining forces with the E Street Band on-stage once again. It looked like that was going to happen in 1995 when they recorded new songs for Bruce's "Greatest Hits" package and even did a few appearances together, but it was not to be, as Bruce's muse leaned more toward the quiet, acoustic sound of "The Ghost of Tom Joad."
In 1998, however, as his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction loomed near, Bruce's attentions focused on putting together "Tracks," a four-disc set of outtakes, alternate takes, and B-sides from his career. One can surmise that with all the retrospection, Bruce realized he wanted to play with a band again, his band, and on December 8, 1998, Shore Fire Media issued a press release saying Bruce Springsteen would tour with the E Street Band in 1999, and the fans' dreams were finally realized.
Brucesp006The initial theory was that the tour was in support of "Tracks," but the majority of the songs played each night were from "Born to Run," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," and "The River," arguably the strongest of Bruce's studio output. Only 23 songs from "Tracks" ended up being played over the course of the tour, some of those only once.
However, Bruce certainly didn't forget the long-unplayed nuggets, as he seemed to pull out some serious shockers as the course progressed. The tour debut of "New York City Serenade" had jaws dropping everywhere, and it seemed like nothing was out of the realm of possibility on the tour.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - The boss is back!!

BruceWith a new album, it was only a matter of time before the tour was to begin. And then on July 10, that announcement came: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are hitting the road in the second half of 2002 for a "barnstorming" tour, playing 46 shows in 46 cities, 39 in North America and 7 in Europe.
With only one night in each city, the first leg of this tour looks to be vastly different than the 1999-2000 "reunion" tour, when extended stays on that tour saw Bruce pulling rarities out each night. But playing one night per city, set lists for the 2002 tour will most likely be focused and not vary much from night to night, much like the American leg of the 1988 Tunnel of Love Express Tour. Time will tell, though, if that theory holds up.
Shore Fire's press release did say, however, that an Australian leg, as well as a return to Europe are in the plans for 2003, plus an additional North American leg that will include "multiple shows in major cities throughout the summer."

Audience tape - Set includes Cadillac Ranch and another Incident on 57th Street solo spot. The Fuse returns to the set for the first time since the european shows.
This is a very good sounding audience recording. An enthusiastic crowd, and Bruce at top form IMO. Great solo piano Incident, Bruce flubbs the first few notes on the piano and then the crowd realizes what's coming.
