Michel Petruciani trio - Pescara jazz '82
I saw Michel in concert twice…. The first time, was back in late 80’s: He played solo in Ales Cratere theatre, FR. The second time was probably mid 90’s: An exeptional 2 hours concert with his two brothers on bass and guitar ( or Drums) at the Jam in Montpellier, FR. I have the latter on tape back home. Sadly, he died few months later.
"My philosophy," said Michel Petrucciani, "is to have a really good time and never to let anything stop me from doing what I want to do."
This rare concert posted here was taped from the audience at the world famous Pescara Jazz festival in Italy back in the early 80's. The recording is very good quality. I am not too sure who are the drummer and the double bassist on this recording…. please help if you have a clue.
